The resources management domain
contains the functionality required
to manage laboratory assets such as
the reference lists, instruments,
products and more.

|
Lab Profiles:
Used to declare and manage the laboratory site and sections and to define the users that should have access to each one of them.
|
|
Company, Contact, and Project Management:
The management of customers,
suppliers, subcontractors, remote
sites is integrated into the Company
Management list allowing a uniform
interface for the configuration and
maintenance. Similarly, contacts
(customers, suppliers,
subcontractors, etc.) are managed
through a single screen. Company
and contact information can be used
to set up projects.

Employee Management:
LabPlus provides functions to manage
employee skills, schedules, and
training information.
|
|
Test Plan and Method:
LabPlus automatically documents analytical method development and validation activities. Test Plans are group of methods used to automate the assignments to samples based attributes such as products, projects and sampling points.

|
Supply and Inventory Management:
LabPlus provides functions to
manage the list of supplies as well as
complete inventory management tools
to track supplies throughout the
laboratory.

Instrument Management:
LabPlus offers instrument management capabilities. It documents the maintenance performed on the instruments and generates notifications when calibration is needed.

Product, Grade and Specification
Management:
LabPlus provides a product and grade concept which allows
managing of specific sub-targets for a given product and reclassification of a product/grade after analysis. This provides true multi-specifications capabilities, including simultaneous internal, external and realistic specifications. Specifications can be related to product and grades but also to projects, customers, sampling points and more.

Request Template Management:
To be used in conjunction with the
LabPlus scheduler, the request
template functions allow the
creation of analytical request
template that comprises samples and
analyses information. This provides
advanced scheduling of any types of
analytical work such as analytical
study, instrument calibration, and
more.
