Laboratory Management
|
|
The laboratory management domain contains essential
functionality for laboratory management.
|
|
Alarms:
LabPlus provides a log for any set
events such as QA corrective
actions, equipment malfunction, QC
non-conformance, Operations
improvement, etc.
|
|
Notifications/Subscribers
With LabPlus it is possible to
configure notifications and their
subscribers. Setting the
notification screen in the
“favorites” allows an easy
monitoring of any changes happening
within the system. Notifications
can be managed in LabPlus and also
be sent automatically by email.
Notifications can be set-up by user
and by role for any entity of the
system. Desired preset conditions
or custom ones are checked by user.
Notification conditions can be
triggered by any type of events
(status change, dates, creation of
entity, and more). These conditions
are executed by LabPlus Plug-ins.

|
Lab State
|
|
The lab state function is a panel that provides access to various events that where generated by the system during analysis, events such as out of specification samples, calibration reminders, and more. Supervisors can document actions taken or add comments to the event logs. |
|
Lab Compliance
|
|
CFR21 Part 11 Compliance
LabPlus provides various improvements for CFR21 Part 11 compliance. For instance, it is possible to specify acceptance steps requirements such as signatures in workflows before saving data; these signatures comply with the digital signature requirements. In addition, snapshots of significant reports are saved in the database as OLE objects.
QA/QC
Programs
LabPlus provides the ability to configure QC plans by instrument, method,
test-plans, worksheet and analysts. It manages standards reference materials and solutions and most QC sample types, such as blanks, calibrations, standards, duplicates, replicates, and spikes. In addition, the system provides capabilities to follow-up on QA corrective actions such as equipment malfunction, QC non-conformance, Operation improvement, and more.
|
|
QA/QC
QA/QC functions are designed to
provide increased capabilities and
allow improved tracking and control
of lab operations. All quality
controls integrate similar
attributes and provide enhanced
capabilities such as charting, the
ability to manage multilayer
(category and types) of controls,
automatic calculations for %
recoveries, accuracy, etc. It is
possible to define validation and
control plans by methods, but in
addition it will also be possible to
define them for worksheets,
instruments, etc. Hence, the scope
for controls, such as calibrations
and blanks, can be global to a
method for a given period of time or
be valid within the scope of a
worksheet. |

Statistics/Business Intelligence
|
|
Statistics
Consist in built-in aggregate
queries for laboratory and QA
supervisors.
|
|
Graphical Charting Object
